Privacy Policy
The short version: We do not collect your data, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you. Your information lives on your device. We have no servers, no backend, and no ability to see anything you enter into our apps.
Overview
Granite Forge Studios LLC builds software for the Apple ecosystem. This policy describes how we handle — or more precisely, how we do not handle — your personal information across all apps we publish on the Apple App Store.
Cascade
Data you enter
Cascade asks you to enter financial information — including income, debts, savings goals, investment accounts, assets, and related details — in order to generate your personalized financial roadmap. This information is entered by you and used only to perform calculations within the app.
Where your data lives
All data you enter into Cascade is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. It does not leave your device except as described under iCloud Sync below.
We do not operate any servers. We do not have a backend. We have no ability to access, view, retrieve, or read any data you enter into Cascade — ever.
iCloud Sync
If you are signed into iCloud on your device, Cascade may sync your data across your personal Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is:
- Managed entirely by Apple under their own privacy policy
- Encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- Accessible only to you via your Apple ID
- Not accessible to Granite Forge Studios LLC at any point
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud on your device.
Third-party services
Cascade uses no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or data collection tools. There are no trackers in the app.
IRS contribution limits used by the app are hardcoded and updated via app releases. No network requests are made to retrieve this data.
Data export
Cascade provides tools for you to export your own data in CSV and JSON formats. These exports go directly to a location you choose on your device. Granite Forge Studios LLC does not receive copies of these exports.

Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable law, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations.
Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our systems, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on our end. All your data resides on your own devices and iCloud account — both of which are under your direct control.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our apps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
